POST Nº3 CLIMATE CHANGE

One of the ways to reverse climate change would be: be efficient in the use of electricity, promote and finance renewable energy resources such as wind or solar energy, use less water, either for bathing, washing the car, eat less animal food, because they spend a lot of water and food recourses, plant trees and avoid monoculture, use less single-use plastics, among others.

I am glad to know that there are some countries that have managed to advance hand in hand with sustainability and pollution as Iceland and other Scandinavian countries, which achieve to reduce and recycle much or all of their trash and ensure a high quality of life with people. Respecting environmental laws and punishing those who damage them. I believe that this same interest in saving the earth should be implemented throughout the world or at least in the case of Chile, which has all the natural resources to be a power in the use of 100% renewable electricity, with solar energy in the north, wind energy on the coast, geothermal in the mountains and hydro in the south by its abundant rivers. Ceasing to depend on fossil fuels and being environmentally friendly.

POST Nº6: TIME TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE

A place I would like to visit in the future would be the Maldives Islands which are in the Indic Ocean, it is a paradisiacal place, extremely beautiful and somewhat expensive, so I would like to go in a few more years, after having a job and having saved, since, it is a very exclusive place for certain type of visitors. But it is a place that has an expiration date because if climate change continues at the current rate, the sea level will have risen enough and will have swallowed all the islands, leaving only the photos of millions of tourists as a vestige of what it was in the past, another part that I would also like to go be European countries like Germany or the Netherlands, either to meet people, history or its natural landscapes, but in my opinion I think the best landscapes in Europe are in Switzerland, the land of the banks, milk and chocolate. Speaking of concrete times, I think I would like to go there in about 8 years approximately  after having worked enough and ...

POST Nº8: ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

I found it a very interesting career, it shows you how issues are addressed in the creation of public policies, laws, the functioning of leaders and candidates, as they must follow a series of guidelines in an informal and formal way, being the formal way is written in the constitution. The use of blogs seems to me something interesting because in a virtual way it allows you to relate and share with other students, because as we are in a online semester it is more difficult to see and know each other and with the use of blogs it is possible to maintain and create that interaction. One of the aspects that I would like to improve would be my pronunciation and comprehension because sometimes when I translate in English in my mind I understand something completely different from what was written but it is something strange because when I listen I do not have that problem , a solution that occurs to me would be to continue reading in English and try to talk to native speakers because t...

POST Nº2 YOUR BEST HOLIDAYS

The best vacation that I ever had so far, was when I went alone to Bolivia in 2019, I went in the month of January and spend 3 weeks there, I met many beautiful places, although I would have like to have meet new friends and people so that the trip would have been completely unforgettable. I arrived in Bolivia by land and the first thing I did was to visit the Uyuni Salt Flat, where the sky touches the earth, with the high amount of rain plus salt, make a natural mirror worthy of admiring and contemplating, I spend a few days there touring the small town and its surroundings, then I went to my next destination, Sucre, where I enjoyed the city very much, I went out more often and stayed most of the day outside, getting to know it. The place gave to me a certain tranquility and I was not worried that I was going to be assaulted or stolen as in Chile and I found it interesting.  My next destination was get to La Paz, its Capital, but for climatic reasons (Highland Winter or Boli...
